The KinnectU Learning Management System is where you'll find information about our training courses, and where you can register and purchase access to them. After registering, you'll also gain access to a variety of Kinnect resources, including best practices, white papers and implementation tips. You'll also be able to track your training completions and access your training certificates.
As Kinnect is a Continuing Education provider, we have two versions of the courses. One counts towards continuing education credits (Enroll for CE) and one that does not (Enroll for Non-CE).
Elevating Facilitation Skills
Course Description
Facilitation is more than managing a meeting—it’s about creating space for meaningful dialogue, active participation, and collaborative decision-making. Elevating Facilitation Skills is a dynamic training designed to strengthen your ability to lead effective discussions across various groups, including kinship caregivers, youth, families, and professionals within the child welfare system.

Social Media Use in Child Welfare: Privacy, Protection, and Ethics in Engagement
Course Description
This is a half-day virtual instructor-led training offering focused on structuring social media usage to maintain privacy, both for the PCSA staff and for the families served.

Search, Engage, Explore, Kinnect (SEEK) Training
Course Description
Search, Engage, Explore, Kinnect (SEEK) - This one-day, in-person training experience introduces participants to foundations and practices of the family search and engagement (FSE) process. If you are with a PCSA, Kinnect also offers this course through the Ohio Child Welfare Training program.
Intro to Building Social Safety for Young People, Families, and the Workforce
Course Description
This training experience provides foundational information about creating social safety for youth and the impact of supportive caregiving. Participants will learn to recognize the ways in which youth are unique and demonstrate acceptance for youth using a nonjudgmental manner.
